👨🏼‍🏫 Understanding the Integration

The integration between Piper and Slack allows you to enable a series of notifications and interactions with Piper, including:

• Receiving notifications when content has been generated
• Getting alerts when there are pending actions on a deal
• Receiving suggestions to improve your pipeline

Currently, Piper does NOT expose a Large Language Model (LLM) directly within the Slack integration. This is because we believe in high-quality, accurate data, and current LLMs still generate inaccurate responses.

✅ Enabling the Integration

You can enable the Slack integration with just a simple click from Settings → Integrations. By default, Piper will notify you directly through the PiperAI Slack app (as shown below).

You can select whether notifications are sent to privately (Slack DM) or in a designated Slack channel.

🖌️ Customizing Notification Preferences

Once the Slack integration is enabled, you can activate specific notifications (more options coming soon).

“Notify When a Call Has Been Processed”

When this is enabled, Piper will automatically send a Slack message after each recorded activity. The message includes call details and actionable buttons, as shown in the following example:
