A Meeting Type define the set of automations and rules you want to apply for a specific type of meeting – you can assign a M.Type manually to an activity or automatically.

You have a lot of control to define which M.Type will be automatically assigned to an activity.
If you go to Settings > Meeting Types you can specify:

This is the configuration setting to automatically assign the Meeting Types.
Before the activity takes place
You can assign the Meeting Type to each activity from the Activity Page, simply by selecting from the dropdown.

After the activity takes place
You can re-calculate the entire M.Types even after the activity is over and another M.Type was calculated. You can go to the transcription page and select another M.Type from the dropdown.
