There is a new section in Settings > Meeting Types where you can view, modify, and create any Meeting Type.

Automatically Choose the Meeting Type for each Activity
When you select a Meeting Type, there are two important parts. The first one allows you to choose which Meeting Type will be automatically used for your activities.

You can select the default Meeting Types in a variety of ways:
- Video Calls – assign a specific M.Type for all the video calls you do.
- Phone Calls – assign a specific M.Type for all the phone calls you do (Aircall, HubSpot Call, Ringover, etc.).
- Audio Notes – assign a specific M.Type for all the audio notes you upload to Piper, this includes audio uploads (mp3, mp4, etc.) or audio messages sent to Piper WhatsApp.
- Meeting Title – you can further customize the automation by specifying keywords that, when found in a meeting title, will automatically assign a specific M.Type.
Organize your Meeting Types
Below, you can see the list of Meeting Types, and by clicking on one of them, you can view its configuration.

You can customize various aspects of each Meeting Type:
- Name – Assign a name to easily identify this type of meeting.
- Description – Provide a description to help the AI understand the purpose of this meeting type and generate more relevant insights.
- What piper generate
- Notes – Choose the specific note template to be applied for this Meeting Type.
- CRM Fields – Select which fields should be automatically updated to your CRM.
Note: This feature is available to PRO users only, and modifications can be made exclusively by ADMIN users.
- Custom Insights – Choose which insights to automate for this Meeting Type.
- Generation language – Set the language for AI-generated content, including notes, insights, CRM fields, and emails.
- Sharing configuration – By default, you can share the page internally with your team or externally with call attendees. External recipients will receive a simplified version of the meeting transcription (coming soon).
- CRM Auto-Sync – where you can control three data logics:
- Notes: We will automatically send notes to the CRM, making them visible on the Contacts, Deals, or Company pages.
- CRM Fields: Active fields will also be sent to the CRM, where they will appear on the same entity pages.
- Log Meetings & Calls: The meeting object will be created and updated for Contacts, Deals, or Companies. If the object already exists, additional details, such as the body and status of the meeting, will be added.
