1. Accessing the Email Templates area

  1. Open Settings → Email in the left-hand navigation.
  2. The left column lists every existing template.
  3. Use the search bar to filter templates by name.

Tip: Use your pre-existing static templates from other sources like your CRM and use them as examples in the settings section.

2. Creating a new template

Field What it does Best practice
Template name Internal label only Keep it action-oriented, e.g. “Short Follow-Up after Demo”.
Subject Static email subject line Keep it relevant to the conversation but general. e.g. “Next Steps Company Name”.
Email language Tells Piper which language to use You can keep it in ‘Automatic’ and Piper will generate the email in the language of the meeting.
Email prompt A short set of instructions for the AI Write in the second person: “Greet by first name, summarise 2 key points, propose next step”
